"What a shelf plate LineMan. No wonder these are collected". Yes Jim. They are being discovered as more boxes close and people die leaving these plates to be disposed of. This one came from a collection in Scotland. Owned by an old Lineman who did not want to scrap them or move them along to the next corresponding box. "It's the only foreign item that's better than the GWR versions..." You'd say that Jim. They certainly didn't polish them as much as our Cornish examples! Ours are all worn out........
