Did you nick this from Wadebridge Jim? "No LineMan I did not. The SR Lineman left it at Bodmin General so hard luck it's GWR property now"! Oh come on Jim. That's not fair. We're suposed to be Multi-Joint men not Alibaba-men... "Hah LineMan. You just don't realise that us GWR men do things different on our lines. Rule No one. Never leave your light behind in a strange place". Let me look at it. It looks nice enough. The orange glass is missing but red and blue (green) are there ok. The top spins nicely and look here the resevoir is lightly stamped L&SWR. The relector is also stamped S(E)R. "Is lamp body stamped L&SWR LineMan?" Yes it is ol Son. The top has a brass 'E' plate where the LSWR should be..." My Uncle was an LSWR Man LineMan. This ere type of resevoir is quite rare as this dome type with 'side filler' is normally seen on a side door type LSWR lamp. The filler being at the side for topping up with fuel with the door open. Very clever the LSWR men were. You should take note of that Jim!"...... "Oh dear friend. If I used this at Qwinear Road I would be the laughing stock of both signal boxes there!
